Mark Pentleton has done a lot of work with learning and teaching languages. He speaks French, German, Spanish and much more. Following the finish of the VERBcast (a podcast specially made to help students in Scotland that were learning French to revise their verbs for their exams), Mark decided to make Coffee Break Spanish. Obviously a podcast to teach Spanish "with your latte" (cool slogan, isn't it?). Along with the main podcast itself (which is hosted by Mark [the teacher] and Kara [the student] as well as some appearances from Mark's son Matthew who I would suppose is also learning Spanish) there is also the pay material which includes PDF notes and a top-up mp3 whch revises the vocabulary/expressions taught in the lesson and the bonus vocabulary/expressions mentioned in the PDF notes using a range of different techniques eg. salsa music, relaxation, quizzes etc. Coffee Break Spanish is a fun podcast in my opinion. Hopefully you will find this show fun, helpful and effective all at the same time.
And to all of you I wish you all a Happy New Year, 新年快樂 (Chinese), Gutes Neues Jahr (German), Ευτυχισμένο το Νέο Ετος (Greek), 새해 복 많이 받으세요 (Korean), Hau'oli Makahiki Hou (Hawaiian), 明けましておめでとう (Japanese) and Próspero año nuevo (Spanish)!!!!
